Abeeku Sam Edu

Dr Abeeku Sam Edu is passionate in Digital Innovations applications and platforms to create value for firms and the healthcare sectors. Digital innovation applications such as Big data applications, Business Intelligence, Cloud Computing and the Internet of Things are his focus of research. The emphasis is mainly to develop sustainable models using contemporary computational tools and methodologies for research and project to help emerging economies with current Digital Innovations and Operations Management. I use contemporary mathematical model tools and methodologies such as Fuzzy algorithms, Machine Learning, and optimization techniques to develop topologies to drive organizations and individuals’ decision-making choices.

Dr. Edu have PhD in Management Information Systems from Cyprus International University and a Master of Philosophy Degree in Operations Management from the University of Ghana, Legon. He has years' experience in practical teaching and theoretical courses at both graduate and undergraduate levels. Some of the courses he teaches include Management Information Systems Quantitative Techniques, Management Science, Total Quality Management, Operations Management, Research Methods, Project Management and Computer Applications in Management. I have been able to develop a good rapport with my seniors, peers and students during these years of teachings, leading to positive recommendations and evaluations for my style and methods of teaching. My teaching is mainly through practical and business cases, cohort discussions and e-learning platforms. Abeeku Sam engages in community services to providing volunteering services to developing communities, the University and Ghana as a whole. These services include serving as a reviewer of journals and conferences, moderations of course contents and examination questions and as a Youth Coach, Teen Counsellor, and Child Career.
