Kwasi Dartey-Baah

Kwasi Dartey-Baah is a Professor at the Department of Organisation and Human Resource Management (OHRM) in the University of Ghana Business School. He holds a PhD in Leadership and Human Resource Development from Trinity College Newburgh, USA and Canterbury University, United Kingdom and engineering degrees from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Ghana and the Imperial College, London. He has considerable research and consultancy experience in project management and leadership development. He is a scholar of the Centre for Promoting Ideas, USA, fellow of the Ghana Institute of Management; a chartered member of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport, UK; a member of the Institution of Highways and Transport; the UK and a corporate member of the Ghana Institution of Engineers (GhIE). He chaired the Ghana Institution of Engineers Strategic Planning Committee from 2014 to 2015. He is an external examiner for both national and international tertiary institutions, a reviewer for international peer-reviewed journals such as International Journal of Human Resource Management, Personnel Review and Social Responsibility Journal and serves on a number of committees in the University of Ghana. Additionally, he has published in reputable/high impact journals including Leadership and Organisational Development Journal, International Journal of Law & Management, African Journal of Economic and Management Studies, International Journal of Business and Journal of Global Responsibility in his area of research.  He has also published in Africa Today, a reputable multidisciplinary journal. Key themes in his research are Leadership, Corporate Social Responsibility, Safe Work Environments and Organisational Culture. He has also presented papers at several conferences both locally and abroad.
