On Tuesday, 22nd August 2023, the International Relations Unit of the University of Ghana Business School (UGBS), had the privilege of hosting Prof. Gerald Yiran, the International Relations Coordinator of the College of Humanities and an Associate Professor of the Department of Geography and Resource Development at the University of Ghana. The purpose of the meeting was to obtain direct insights into the international relations activities of the Business School.
Addressing the meeting, Prof Elikplimi Komla Agbloyor, an Associate Professor of Finance, and the Coordinator for International Partnerships at the Business School narrated the array of global engagements that the UGBS has been involved in over the years, including the process of attaining international accreditations. He also highlighted the regular annual trips that UGBS arranges for its graduate students, often involving visits to prestigious colleges and universities. Professor Agbloyor stressed the significance of the numerous Memorandum of Understanding that the Business School has established with various international universities.
In response, Prof. Gerald Yiran expressed his satisfaction and positive impression regarding the multitude of initiatives undertaken by the Business School. He went on to disclose his intention to integrate certain strategies from these endeavours into his plans and strategies as the International Relations Coordinator of the College of Humanities.
