Mrs. Adu-Mante joined the Board in 2011 as Vice Chairperson under the chairmanship of Rev. Throughout her tenure, she played a key role in strengthening the Endowment Fund’s long-term sustainability and safeguarding its mandate for future generation of students. Beyond her leadership responsibilities, she also demonstrated her commitment through personal financial contributions to the Fund.
Delivering opening remarks at the ceremony, the Dean of UGBS, Prof. Ernest Tweneboah-Koduah, expressed appreciation to the outgoing members of the Board and paid tribute to Mrs. Adu-Mante’s impactful leadership. He noted that just as he was settling into his role as Dean and gaining a deeper understanding of her immense contributions to the Endowment Fund, she was stepping down from office. Responding to the remarks, Mrs. Adu-Mante assured the Board and the school of her continued support, stating that she remained “just a call away.” Mr. Daniel Asiedu, who previously served as Vice Chairperson of the Board praised Mrs. Adu-Mante for her warm leadership style and meticulous approach to governance, noting that she made every member feel welcomed and valued. He pledged to build on her legacy and further raise the profile of the Endowment Fund.
