Anthony Afful-Dadzie

Prof. Anthony Afful-Dadzie is an Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Operations and Management Information Systems at the University of Ghana Business School. He holds a PhD in Industrial and Systems Engineering as well as an M.A. in Economics from The Ohio State University. He also holds an MPhil degree in Industrial Systems, Manufacturing, and Management from University of Cambridge. He is the recipient of the 2019 Queen Elizabeth Scholarship-Advanced Scholars Program serving as a fellow at Carleton University, Canada. Anthony has also thrice (2015, 2017, and 2022) served as a host to fellows from Quinnipiac University, and College of Charleston from USA on the Carnegie African Diaspora Fellowship Program.

Prof. Anthony Afful-Dadzie’s research interest spans the areas of management science, operations research and decision science with a special focus on the development of techniques for evaluation and analysis of operational decisions and decision support systems that support business processes and public sector organizations. He has published extensively in the areas of energy policy and planning, multi-criteria decision-making, supply chain management, data analytics, and information systems. Anthony has published in journals including Renewable and Sustainable Energy Reviews, Applied Energy, Journal of Quality Technology, Energy Economics, Energy, Management Decision, and Government Information Quarterly.
