Yvonne Ayerki Lamptey

Yvonne Ayerki Lamptey (BSc., MPhil., University of Ghana; PhD, Swansea University, Wales, UK) is a senior lecturer with the Department of Organisation and Human Resource Management at the University of Ghana Business School. Her PhD in Business Studies focuses on employment relations. Her MPhil and BSc studies focused on corporate leadership and employee development respectively and she teaches across the undergraduate and postgraduate levels at the Business School. She supervises dissertations, tutors students and serves as the Senior Tutor at the Volta Hall of residence. She also serves on committees within the university.

Yvonne is a professional member of the Institute of Human Resource Management Practitioners, Ghana and was affiliated to the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development with considerable teaching and practice experience across local and international organisations from UK, US, Africa. She has served as a consultant and conducted training for private and public institutions. She has developed human resource management systems and strategies for these private and international organisations. She is a listed mediator/ arbitrator at the National Labour Commission in Ghana.

Yvonne’s research focus is on employment relations, strategic human resource management and organisational behaviour. She has published in international per review journals on union relations, organisational behaviour, corporate leadership and the informal sector. She reviews for international peer review journals.
